Miron Stabinsky details his life as a gambler in terms of a spiritual quest for self-development and self-experience. The book includes many interesting anecdotes gleaned from his long experience in the casino industry and as a professional gambler. Also, there is a considerable emphasis on looking at the whole casino experience and its components in spiritual terms. The book also includes all the basics of the casino table games, slot machines and video poker with strategies and money-management rules. It also has advice on getting along with casino staff, tipping, and how the casino works. This is a well-written book that contains lots of interesting facts about many games, although the section on card counting is extremely light.
