Hoyle Casino 3D
Those who saw the movie "Jaws 3 - In 3D", are probably scared to death of anything with 3D in the title. Playing Hoyle Casino 3D probably won't cure the fear of things with 3D as part of the main heading, but the players will feel better about that sort of thing.
This game is a mix of both the good and the bad. On the plus side it has a wonderfully wide variety of games. Just about anything you see in a casino is available to play on Hoyle. If you are like so many of us who only play one or two games at the casino and are a bit undereducated on the rest of the offerings to be found on the gaming floor, this game offers comprehensive tutorials that are good enough to prepare you for not just the computer game, but the live experience as well. These are the games strongest points.
On the more negative side, the game tries too hard to simulate the casino experience. If when you buy a computer game, you want to play the game only and don't want to be bothered by waitresses asking you if you would like a drink, some features of this game may annoy you. Along with these occasional interruptions, the graphics is average but not mind blowing.
Overall there are better games out there, but this is not the worst value in the world for $30. For those buying this game, be aware that it runs best on Windows XP.
